Letter from South Africa I recieved an email from Steve, a south african who owns a Cheetah and uses it for photography there.  I thought it was very good information as it pertains to safety and really thinking about our decisions when faced with a situation.  I have included it in it's entirety.  I hope you find it useful. . Your Christmas eve newsletter is well received and with thanks. I was somewhat drawn to the pic of the snow, its because its something we don’t even conceive of here in sunny South Africa. I did however have a recent “weather” related experience which you may be interested in reading. Our world has a way of periodically measuring us, by throwing occasional curved balls and I figured that as an aviator, you’d be interested in my ‘test’ of late November.

Theft Alert!!!!! - Quicksilver Stolen from 93C Richland Center, WI On or about May 22nd, this beautiful aircraft, N582VB was dismantled and stolen from a locked hangar at the Richland Airport, Richland Center, WI. The N-numbered ELSA Root tube is # 0927, it has a 582 Rotax 167 TT, Large Radiator, 12 Gallon fuel tank, Ceramic coated Lifetime Muffler, 3-blade Warp Drive Prop, Full instrumentation, strobes, Cessna-150 tires on 6"Azusa Rims, Clear coated tailfeathers. Randy is a high school teacher, and uses this aircraft for summer aviation courses. Please help him bring this homesick bird back home.
