What amount of instruction would you recommend for learning to fly to Cheetah XLS? I am a multi-engine commercial pilot, with 2000+ hrs, but only about 75hrs in small single engine aircraft, no LSA experience, but it does look fun!

Travis,

This question is almost as hard to answer as how long does it take to build? It all depend on you and how quick you pick it up and many other variable such as....

1) How resent you did the 75 hours in in a small single engine? The more recent the better.

2) What the small aircraft was? The closer it is in weight to a LSA the less time it will take to transition.

One of the major issues in transitioning to the Light Sport is that they react so quickly and it takes much less input to get a reaction.

I would guess that it shouldn't take over 5-10 Hours.

And yes the Cheetah XLS is alot of fun!!!

Thanks,
Steve
