The aircraft is shipped in two wood crate by LTL to your loacation

When we received the 2 wooden boxes. We decided that we should have some help. I got the help of several friends and unsuspecting relatives for this.

The box sizes are:
Box 1 - 1220mm x 2440mm x 870mm (48" X 96" X 34")
Box 2 - 560mm x 4340mm x 305mm (22" X 171" X 12")

Fortunately the truck had a lift on it so the larger box that is 4' X 8' X 35" was turned sideways on the lift and lowered. Then slid onto the trailer.


After unloading at the airport and slipping into the hanger, it took about 15 minutes to unscrew the tops off of the boxes.

Simply take every screw out of the top of the box.
