The Cheetah XLS is a Light Sport Certified Aircraft as of September 17th, 2009.

This certification was a result of over a year of work bringing the Pilot operating handbook and the maintenance manuals up to the requirements of Light Sport Aircraft and a complete review of the astm standards that govern all Light Sport Aircraft in the United States.
